El evento se desarrollar\u00e1 entre el <strong>2 y el 4 de marzo<\/strong> de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos del sitio especializado <strong>Time and Date<\/strong>, solo el <strong>2% de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial<\/strong>, equivalente a <strong>176 millones de personas<\/strong>, podr\u00e1 observar el eclipse lunar en todas sus fases: penumbral, parcial y total. En tanto, cerca del <strong>31% de la poblaci\u00f3n del planeta<\/strong> \u2014unos <strong>2.500 millones de personas<\/strong>\u2014 podr\u00e1 apreciar la fase total del fen\u00f3meno, que tendr\u00e1 una duraci\u00f3n aproximada de <strong>80 minutos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La tambi\u00e9n conocida como <strong>\u201cLuna de sangre\u201d<\/strong> ser\u00e1 visible desde amplias regiones de <strong>Am\u00e9rica del Norte y del Sur<\/strong>, el <strong>oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico<\/strong>, grandes \u00e1reas de <strong>Asia y Ocean\u00eda<\/strong>, as\u00ed como desde el oeste de <strong>Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1<\/strong>, las <strong>islas del Pac\u00edfico<\/strong> y <strong>Nueva Zelanda<\/strong>. Dentro de este amplio mapa de observaci\u00f3n, <strong>Argentina se destaca entre los pa\u00edses donde el eclipse podr\u00e1 verse en su totalidad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al tratarse de un eclipse lunar, <strong>no ser\u00e1 necesario utilizar equipos especiales ni protecci\u00f3n ocular<\/strong> para su observaci\u00f3n. El fen\u00f3meno ocurre cuando la Luna se encuentra en fase llena y se alinea completamente con la Tierra y el Sol. En ese momento, el planeta se interpone entre ambos astros y bloquea la luz solar directa que normalmente ilumina al sat\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta particular alineaci\u00f3n provoca que la Luna adquiera un caracter\u00edstico <strong>color rojizo<\/strong>, cuya intensidad puede variar seg\u00fan las <strong>condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas<\/strong>, como la presencia de polvo, nubes o part\u00edculas volc\u00e1nicas en la atm\u00f3sfera terrestre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los <strong>eclipses lunares totales<\/strong>, responsables de las llamadas \u201clunas de sangre\u201d, son eventos poco frecuentes y se destacan por su impactante colorimetr\u00eda.
